The problem of odor nuisance is related to odors emitted by sources emitting odor compounds affecting human olfactory receptors.
We offer monitoring:
Periodic odor monitoring performed, among others, by measurement in accordance with the EN 13725 standard (dynamic olfactometry).
These are filtration methods of odor compounds thanks to the use of adsorption technique on the surface of activated carbon, aluminum oxide, zeolites.
The adsorption technique consists in the separation and subsequent retention of gaseous pollutant components (e.g. organic solvents, fragrance active substances or water vapor) on the surface of the adsorbent. Activated carbon and organic substances as well as minerals - alumina and zeolite are most often used as adsorbents. The characteristics of adsorbents include: large specific surface area, appropriate granulate size, hardness, flowability and ease of regeneration.
compounds having carbon in their structure (aldehydes, ketones, aliphatic and aromatic compounds)
sulfur compounds (hydrogen sulphide (H2S), mercaptans).
nitrogen compounds (ammonia (NH3), amines)
