An environmental (insurance) guarantee is an obligation of the insurer to pay a specified sum of money. This means that the beneficiary, at the time of causing environmental damage, may count on the payment of the claim up to the amount of the guarantee sum, after confirming the compliance of the request for payment. This call must be in accordance with the provisions of the warranty.
The environmental guarantee secures the beneficiary's claims against the obligated party up to the amount of the guarantee sum.
